Turning 30 and Setting up a Side-hustle with Karina Marriott

In this episode I am in conversation with my good friend and client Karina Marriott aka the Style Idealist. Karina and I met on Instagram two years ago where she bravely shared her turning 30 struggles and from here we started our coaching journey together. As her life coach, I supported Karina at a time when she had started to push forward with her business, a passion project that she started as an escape from a toxic job. Together we navigated the struggles that come hand in hand with big life changes from self-confidence to self-belief, the courage to stop playing small and the strength to pursue a career that fulfils you. Karina opens up and speaks authentically about the difficulties of leaving toxic workplaces and setting up a side-hustle that eventually became her main-hustle. This episode is full of amazing and inspiring lessons we have learnt together.

Wednesday Aug 05, 2020
Today I am joined by my friend Jennie Becker to talk about turning 30 and being single. This isn’t a fluffy conversation about the perks of being single at 30, but instead a real-life discussion on the stigma of being single in your thirties, how to cope when your friends are at different stages of life to you and how we are influenced by social conditioning when it comes to sticking to relationship timelines. Jennie eloquently shares how her twenties didn’t turn out as she had originally expected in terms of romantic relationships and gives us her candid insights on how she feels about her single status.
If you want to hear an honest account of being 33 and single, this episode is for you!
